The Corpse Reviver is a family of classic cocktails that originated in the 19th century. As the name suggests, it was designed to “resurrect the dead,” in other words, to help one recover from a night of heavy drinking. Traditionally consumed as a hangover cocktail, it is one of the few drinks historically recommended as a hangover cure.
