Recipe
For 1 person
5 cl dark rum
2 cl bitter (Campari...)
5 cl pineapple juice
2 cl lime juice
1 cl simple syrup
How to make
Technique: shaker / Glass: highball, tiki / Type: long drink (15cl) / Time: 5 mn

Shake the dark rum, bitter, pineapple juice, lime juice and simple syrup with a few ice cubes.

Strain into a tiki glass.

Decorate with a pineapple wedge.

The Jungle Bird is a tiki cocktail with an unusual ingredient in this category: Campari. The recipe originated at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton, a hotel and restaurant in the city of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The Jungle Birds were invented especially for the inauguration of the establishment in 1973.
