About
The Ramos Gin Fizz was invented in 1888 by Henry Charles “Carl” Ramos, a New Orleans bartender, at his Imperial Cabinet Saloon. At a time when mixology was evolving, Ramos wanted to create a smooth, velvety, and refreshing cocktail that was different from the full-bodied, high-alcohol concoctions common at the time.
