The PainKiller: a sweet and exotic cocktail based on rum and coconut cream.


For 1 person
5 cl rum
4 cl pineapple juice
4 cl squeezed orange juice
2 tsp coconut cream

How to make

Technique: shaker / Glass: highball / Type: long drink (15cl) / Time: 3 mn
  1. Shake the rum, pineapple juice, orange juice and coconut cream with a few ice cubes.

  2. Strain into iced-filled glass.


The PainKiller cocktail is said to have been created in the 1970s at the Soggy Dollar, a bar located on Jost Van Dyke, an island in the archipelago of the British Virgin Islands.

The Pain Killer recipe clearly looks like a Piña Colada, in which squeezed orange juice would have been added.
