History
The Fernandito is a brand new classic IBA cocktail, it is a very simple recipe to make that consists only of Fernet Branca and Coke / Coca cola.
The story of Fernet Branca begins in the 1840s when Dr. Fernet developed a blend of almost 30 plants, herbs and spices to overcome the digestive concerns of his patients. Branca, who was then an apothecary, decided to join forces with Fernet to make his medicine a liqueur intended to fight Cholera. Fernet-Branca was born, the virtues of this drink later proved to be more numerous than expected, curing nervous problems, fever or digestion.
Fernanditos cocktails are widely consumed in South American countries and especially in Argentina.
