Recipe
For 1 person
2 cl white rum
2 cl brandy
1,5 cl triple sec (Cointreau)
1,5 cl lemon juice
How to make

Shake with ice cubes the rum, brandy, triple sec and lemon juice.

Strain into a martini glass.

History
The Between The Sheets is a short drink made with gin, brandy, triple sec and lemon juice, it has become a classic cocktail.
Its origin is uncertain but its recipe with the ingredients we know today appeared in 1930 in "The Savoy Cocktail Book" by Harry Craddock.
That said, a theory exists that this cocktail was invented in 1921 by Mr. Polly at the Berkeley Hotel in London.
