History

The basic Sangria recipe is this, the basic spirit is characterized at least by the presence of red wine, brandy, fresh fruit, lemon-lime soda and sometimes sugar. Everyone is of course free to add, for example, fruit in pieces (banana, apple, peach...), liquor (port, triple sec...), and/or cinnamon very common in sangrias.

The name Sangria comes from the Spanish word "sangre" which means "blood" in english, it is the color of the cocktail that is at the origin of its name. The ingredients that make up the sangria recipe make it very fruity and refreshing, which masks the alcohol content and gives the sangria its sly side.
