Contrary to what we can unfortunately see sometimes, never "mojito flavor syrup" in a virgin mojito! There is no point in that since once your rum flavored syrup replaces the rum, your virgin mojito tastes like a real mojito and therefore does not need a "mojito flavored syrup" in any way.

History

The Virgin Mojito Cocktail was created from the famous rum-based Mojito often attributed to Francis Drake. The Virgin Mojito is the non-alcoholic version and can therefore be consumed by everyone. Virgin mojitos are very refreshing cocktails that have a great success, they are ideal in the middle of summer when it is hot.

Since the appearance of rum-flavored syrup, the virgin mojito tastes almost identical to its alcoholic version, this rum-flavored syrup logically replaces rum and powdered sugar.

The virgin mojito existed before the release of the rum-flavored syrup thanks to which today the virgin mojitos have the same taste as the alcoholic version. The recipe was then composed of 3cl of lime juice, a few mint leaves, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 8cl of ginger ale.
