History

The Bellini cocktail is a "classic" cocktail, this is the official recipe of the IBA (International Bartender Association).

The Bellini was created by Giuseppe Cipriani in 1948 at Harry's Bar in Venice, Giuseppe named his cocktail in honor of the painter Giovanni Bellini.

Harry's Bar in Venice is a very famous establishment created in 1931, many celebrities have come there, we are talking about Ernest Hemingway, Orson Welles, Maria Callas or Charly Chaplin.

Originally, bellinis as they were originally invented by their creator were made with white peach purée marinated in wine and a dash of raspberry juice that we topped off with Italian sparkling wine "Prosecco".
