The Last Word is a classic cocktail made with equal parts gin, green chartreuse, maraschino and lime juice.
This cocktail is said to have originated shortly before the summer of 1916, when its name was first mentioned. It was part of a cocktail list in a souvenir menu sent to Detroit Athletic Club members.
