History

This is the original recipe for the Blue Blazer cocktail as published in 1862 by its creator Jerry Thomas in "Bartenders Guide: How to mix drinks" . Jerry Thomas tells us that this cocktail does not have a very classic or melodious name, but it tastes better on the palate than it sounds on the ear. He also specifies that it is necessary to train well with cold water in order to be able to successfully decant without damage.
