For 1 person
3.5 cl rum
2.5 cl Cognac
4 cl squeezed orange juice
3 cl squeezed lemon juice
2 cl orgeat syrup

How to make

Technique: blender / Glass: tiki, highball / Type: long drink (15cl) / Time: 5 mn
  1. Blend the rum, Cognac, orange juice, lemon juice and orgeat syrup with a few ice cubes for a few seconds.

  2. Pour into a glass.

History

The Scorpion cocktail recipe was published for the first time in 1947 in the book by Victor Bergeron, alias "Trader Vic", a famous mid-20th century bartender and creator of Maï-Tai.

Originally, the Scorpions were Hawaiian cocktails discovered by Trader Vic during an excursion in the islands, and which he modified a lot over the years.
