History
The Apple Jack appeared for the first time in 1922 in Robert Vermeire's book Cocktails: How to mix them.
This is the real original recipe as it was published in 1922 that we will show you here with no more and no less than Calvados, Angostura Bitter, and gum syrup or curaçao that the author leaves it to everyone's choice. Robert Vermeire also tells us that this cocktail is also called Jersey Lightning in the USA.
