History
The Godfather or God Father cocktail has no known origin, the recipe is usually made with scotch but sometimes also with bourbon. It gave birth to 2 derivative cocktails: the godmother and the godchild.
Some bartenders make the recipe with equal parts whiskey and Amaretto.
