History
The Ballet Russe cocktail was first published in a cocktail book in 1943 in “Cocktail Digest” by Oscar Haimo. We don't know much more about its origin but it could have been invented in honor of the company "Les ballets russes" created in 1907 by Serge de Diaghilev and whose tour began in Paris.
