History

The Ballet Russe cocktail has no known origin, but bearing this Frenchified name internationally, it could have been created in France in honor of the company "Les ballets russes" created in 1907 by Serge de Diaghilev and whose tour began in Paris.

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, the New York restaurant "Russian Tea Room" has decided to honor a series of cocktails via the mixologist Brice Moldovan who has redeveloped classics such as the Russian Ballet as well as the "1917" or the "Paris to Moscow". The version of the Ballet Russe redesigned by Brice Moldovan is made with Gray Goose Orange, Absolut Citron, Litchi juice, Grand Marnier and a dash of grenadine... a recipe under the name of Ballet Russe but in fact completely different.
