Recipe
For 1 person
A few drops of tabasco
1 cl worcestershire sauce
2 cl lemon juice
6 cl gin
11 cl tomato juice
How to make
Technique: straight to the glass / Glass: highball / Type: long drink (20cl) / Time: 5 mn

Fill a glass with ice cubes.

Pour in the gin, tomato juice, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce and tabasco.

Add according to your taste salt, celery salt and/or pepper.

Stir with a spoon then add a branch of celery as decoration.
History
The Red Snapper cocktail is a variant of the famous Bloody Mary, the gin here replaces the initial vodka.
Fernand Petiot, believed to be the creator of the Bloody Mary, was reportedly forced to replace vodka with gin in his creation and call his cocktail the "Red Snapper" upon arriving at King Cole Bar in New York City amid the 1930s.
