2,5 cl vermouth rosso (Martini...)

  1. Half fill a mixing glass with ice cubes.

  2. Pour in the gin, Grand Marnier and vermouth.

  3. Stir with a mixing spoon until cool.

  4. Strain into a glass.

History

The Bijou Cocktail is a short drink made with gin, Grand Marnier and red vermouth, it was first published in a cocktail book in 1895, it was "The Mixicologist" written by C.F. Lawlor, an American bartender who worked in Cincinnati (Ohio, USA).
