About

The Lynchburg Lemonade cocktail was created in the 1980s by a bartender named Lynn Tolley, who was also an ambassador for the Jack Daniel's distillery at the time. According to legend, Tolley created the cocktail as a way to promote the famous Tennessee whiskey in bars and restaurants across the country. The idea was to create an easy-drinking, fruity, and approachable drink to appeal to a younger crowd that was less familiar with whiskey cocktails.
