Recipe

For 1 person
4 cl dark rum
2 cl vermouth rosso
6 cl apple juice
2 cl lemon juice
1 cl simple syrup

How to make

Technique: shaker / Glass: highball / Type: long drink (15cl) / Time: 5 mn
  1. Shake the rum, vermouth rosso, apple juice, lemon juice and sugar syrup with a few ice cubes.

  2. Strain into a glass.

History

The Voodoo is a rather recent cocktail from England since it dates from the very beginning of the 2000s, it would have been created by a certain Alex Kammerling.

It's a recipe rich in flavors and perfectly balanced, where the many fruity flavors blend wonderfully with those of vermouth and those of amber rum, all sweetened by the sugar syrup.
