3 cl rum
1.5 cl white curaçao
1.5 cl lime juice
1 egg white
1 tsp sugar
How to make

Fill an old-fashioned glass with crushed ice in advance.

Shake the rum, the white Curaçao, the lime juice, the egg white and the sugar with a few ice cubes.

Strain into the glass.

The exact origin of the Acapulco cocktail is difficult to trace, but it appears in mixology books from the 1960s. It is said to have been created to capture the essence of tropical cocktails consumed on Mexican beaches, combining typical ingredients like tequila and rum.
