Malibu Sunrise: a variant of the famous Tequila Sunrise made with Malibu coconut rum.
Recipe
For 1 person
6 cl Coconut Rum (Malibu original)
8 cl orange juice
1 cl grenadine syrup
How to make
Technique: straight to glass / Glass: highball / Type: long drink (15cl) / Time: 2 mn

Fill the glass with ice.

Pour the Coconut Rum directly into the glass then the orange juice.

Pour the grenadine syrup which will settle at the bottom of the glass.

Decorate with a slice of orange.
History
The Malibu sunrise cocktail is a variant of the famous Tequila Sunrise that everyone knows, the original tequila is here replaced by Malibu original which is a sweet rum flavored with coconut.
Like all the cocktails in the "Sunrise" family, the Malibu Sunrise is always made with orange juice and grenadine syrup.
