History
The RAC (or R.A.C.) cocktail was first published in 1922's "Cocktails: How to Mix Them" by famed bartender Robert Vermeire.
The author indicates that the initials R.A.C. stand for Royal Automobile Club (London) and that the recipe was created in 1914 by Fred Faecks.
