History
The Bee's Knees is a French cocktail composed of gin, lemon juice and honey, it first appeared in 1929 in Cocktails de Paris where the recipe is accredited to Frank Meier of the Ritz. Frank Meier also accredits the invention of the Bees' Knees in his own book "The Artistry of Mixing Drinks" dating from 1936.
