2 cl gin
2 cl vermouth bianco
2 cl violet liqueur
2 cl absinthe
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
How to make
Technique: mixing glass / Glass: martini / Type: short drink (8cl) / Time: 4 mn

Half fill the mixing glass with ice cubes.

Add the gin, vermouth bianco, violet liqueur, absinthe and 2 dashes of Orange bitters.

Stir with a mixing spoon.

Strain into a martini glass.

Add a lemon twist into the glass.
History
The recipe for the Cocktail Attention, which dates from the 1940s, originally calls for 4 equal parts of gin, vermouth bianco, violet liqueur and absinthe. We leave you here the original recipe but many think that it is very unbalanced and that it would take more gin to rebalance it, it's up to you to test and make your own opinion.
